Everything is Connected

a succulent plant that shows fractals and sacred geometry

You’ve probably heard someone say at some point in your life that “we are all connected.”

This is one of the most important Laws of the Universe to understand and integrate into your life.

From subatomic particles to galaxies, everything is an expression of energy, vibration, and frequency. This is why the Nature of Reality is a fractal, and we see the macrocosm in the microcosm and vice versa. This is also why sacred geometry is “sacred,” and why you will see it used in magick all the time, because sacred geometry reflects this universal Truth.

Every aspect of our lives is about our connection and communication with Other.

Let’s look at this in a way that’s more practical for our daily lives. In order to manifest something into your life, whether it’s buying a new house or getting a promotion, you need to create story that is believable not only to yourself but one that other people will believe as well.

Why? Because other people will bring your manifestation to life.

Let’s say you want to buy a house. How will you get that new house? Well, the Human Collective creates the house. You create a story with the Human Collective to bring that life into YOUR reality.

At some point, the Human Collective birthed people who would contribute to house-building. It brought in people to mine minerals, harvest wood, and gather the materials for the house; people daydreamed what the house would look and feel like; others designed and architected the house; even more people came to together to build the house; selling and inspecting the house is done through even more people, etc.

Everything in the Matrix is about connection with other people.

So as we go about our lives, whether we’re looking at how the Matrix works or we want to create something new for our lives, it’s important to remember that we cannot do it alone.

In fact, the more we step out of the “it’s all about me” mindset or the “me, myself, and I” focus, the easier it is to manifest what we want out of life. When we step into a mindset of “what is my role in this situation?” and into a broader “we, us, and ourselves” level of focus, it’s much easier to manifest and change realities because we’re working with others to do it.

We are much more powerful when we operate as a group than when we operate as a singular person.

We are a Creator species, and we don’t live in isolation. Literally every physical object in our lives was made by other people. Even the Rules of Engagement to reality are decided by us as a singular and by broader Collectives. We are all connected, and the more we embrace this Truth, the more powerful we become.

Love & Relationships

Love & relationships

“All you need is love
All you need is love
All you need is love, love
Love is all you need
.”
~ The Beatles, 1967

Humans cannot survive without love and relationships, and we cannot thrive without love and healthy relationships.

Love is more than just neurons firing in the brain and dopamine traveling through the bloodstream — although that’s definitely part of it. After all, we do have physical bodies, and the relationship we have with our physical body is one of the most important relationships we can have in this Reality Game.

Love is the binding energy of the Cosmos.

lorem ipsum….

Scholarship across disciplines has shown the importance of love and relationships with others.

For decades, studies have shown that babies that do not receive enough physical touch — parasympathetic response — can be psychologically harmed, or in extreme cases, even die.

As a society, we’ve deemed that “solitary confinement” is one of the worst ways to punish an individual. It’s because we cut the individual away from the Collective, by stimulation via the environment, information, emotional, mental, and physical contact. There are also hundreds of years of research that show the substantial adverse effects of people who are subjugated to solitary confinement. Why?

Being supportive and supported by love is the key to Creating healthy relationships.

Medicine, history, sociology, literature explore how love and relationships impact the human condition — even physicists are describing quantum entanglement as a type of love-relationship of the universe itself.

So clearly, we cannot survive alone. And we most certainly can’t thrive being alone and lonely. If we take it a step further, we can’t even experience this reality of the universe alone!

So let’s imagine the other extreme for a moment. What would happen if we thrived in a healthy group?

When we Unite with love, we are unstoppable.

Mahatma Gandhi helped India gain independence from Britain, the most powerful Western nation of the time, through peaceful resistance. Inspired by Gandhi and his success with non-violent activism, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. described Gandhi as being one of the “individuals who greatly reveal the working of the Spirit of God.” The legacy of Dr. King goes beyond his Nobel Peace Prize, being the driving force of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and his immortalized “I Have a Dream” speech.

They proved how the Human Collective can achieve seemingly unthinkable, unattainable, impossible acts of Co-Creation through Love and Relationships.

It’s likely that many people when reading this article thought I’d write about romantic relationships. And although it’s true that romantic relationships are often a Core Creation we focus on, it’s much more important to look at the foundation of our relationships.

We can go so far as to say that our entire experience as a species is that of Duality, or the relationship between Self and Other.

If this wasn’t true, then Greek philosophes wouldn’t have lamented about the 7 Types of Narrative Conflict for the past three thousand years. If you’re unfamiliar with them, here they are (note that I’m replacing the terms “man” or “person” with the word “self”):

  • Self vs. Self
  • Self vs. Fate/God
  • Self vs. Person
  • Self vs. Society
  • Self vs. Nature
  • Self vs. Supernatural
  • Self vs. Technology

What do relationships look like in the New Paradigm?

Wealth & Money

There’s an old saying, “money makes the world go ’round.” Why is that, exactly? Because…

Money represents energy, chi, or the ability “to do.”

There’s a reason that many of us spend the majority of our entire lives focusing on money. It’s the same reason why economies exist, why having money or not can dictate how you comfortable you live your life, or even whether you are respected by others.

Money directly represents how powerful we are.

Because right NOW, money is the construct that we use to exchange energy as a species. We “exchange” money for work, services, support, products—any item that we put chi or our “ability to do” into physical reality.

And yet, money is also illusionary.

More and more these days, the money that circulates the global economy is not backed by anything. For millennia, money was represented by useful items that were also hard to come by—everything from rice and salt to gold and silver. Later, FIAT currency was used as money—printed bills and coins to represent value. Nowadays, especially in the era of online banking and cryptocurrency, money (ultimately) is a representation of 1s and 0s (binary code) that travels across computer networks. Yet these 1s and 0s have extreme meaning and importance within our individual lives and collective communities.

Why? Because we agree that money is valuable.

For example, you can buy physical property, education, equipment, food, and all sorts of needs with money. The agreement that these items have a certain value makes it real.

Here’s an exercise for you. Ask yourself these questions:

  • is money dirty?
  • does money corrupt?
  • does it make people “superficial”?

If you responded to “yes” to any of these questions, then you have a program running about money. More often than not, these programs are purposefully used to prevent us from using our own chi or energy within our lives. It limits us and our power, which some organizations on this planet find very useful for their own agendas.

Money in and of itself is not good or bad. It is a tool that we as a Human species have used for various purposes. It’s like a knife; you can use a knife to cook a beautiful meal or you can use it to kill someone with it. It’s up to us how we use this tool.

As many spiritualists teach, money alone will also not cause happiness.

Money is not the end-goal, but a means to an end.

Instead, I recommend focusing on wealth, which has a different connotation or vibrational structure behind it.

Wealth involves much more than having lots of money. Wealth is a culmination of abundance, power, and energy. It can be unlimited if you allow it to.

If we are wealthy, we are full of abundance. Abundance is the opposite of scarcity, which our current economic structure is based on. But more and more we are seeing technology change society from scarcity to abundance. The Internet and all the products and services that have manifested out of it is a great example of this.

If any parts of this article triggered you or did not resonate, I strongly recommend that you reconnect with the spirit of money—click here to Inelia Benz’s website, where you can watch a video and download the exercise for free. This exercise is so effective, I use it myself all the time, which is why I suggest you to do the same.

Remember, money is a tool—a tool that represents energy—and what we choose to do it with it directly impacts how we’re creating our own reality.

You Create Reality

image of the Flower of Life for the Start Here page

You’ve probably heard of this famous quote, “I think, therefore I am.”

The original Latin phrase, Cogito, ergo sum, was a philosophical proposition by RenΓ© Descartes during the mid-seventeenth century. It’s usually translated into English as “I think, therefore I am.” An even older axiom from the ancient Greeks is, “Know Thyself,” which was quite famously taught by Socrates and Plato. Not only must you know your mind, you must know how to control it or have it work with you, not against you.

Turns out all these men were alchemists, but that story is for a different blog article πŸ˜‰

Fast-forward to contemporary times, turns out that modern physics is showing how the entire Cosmos (the physical Universe) is inexorably linked to the mind.

If you thought that the Universe was merely an infinite floating space of random matter, think again. Even recent studies in Quantum Physics is showing how Reality is entirely subjective and not objective at all.

In other words, Reality is entirely decided and created by YOU.

Whoa. Heavy stuff, right?

You may be thinking to yourself, “How the heck am I capable of creating the cosmos when I can barely get up in the morning?”

Great point.

Turns out that most of reality is a Collective agreement. In other words, it’s not just you that’s creating reality. You’re part of a larger collective called the Human Species that also has its own mind, goals, and agreements.

Inelia Benz has talked about the Human Collective at length, but she’s far from being the first.

In the Western world, psychoanalyst Carl G. Jung showed empirical evidence that the Human Species has a mind of its own, what he called the Collective Unconscious. Joseph Campbell and many others went on to extend the this work and show that every person shares the same larger mind.

Shamans, mystics, alchemists, and buddhas have also known for thousands of years that there is the One Mind of the the Universe and life itself.

So even though you’re part of a larger collective mind, it’s also important to remember that you are also an individual — a powerful one at that.

You can best control and directly influence your OWN life. Yes, you can also influence the Human Species, but that’s best done by changing aspects your life that you’re dissatisfied with in your own life first.

So if ancient philosophers and top scientists from around the world are telling us that our minds literally shape reality — and that the human species has a larger mind on its own — then a more accurate phrase when looking at modern physics (or the Cosmos in general) would be, “I am, therefore I think”.

Interestingly, this still translates into Latin as Cogito, ergo sum πŸ™‚

But this site isn’t about training you to become a physicist or even how to read or interpret what’s going on in modern science.

What I am here to do is to distill the principles of modern science into practical, step-by-step guides that you can follow and integrate into your life so you don’t have to read the heavy stuff (unless you want to).

I’ll also show you how ancient spiritual principles from around the world are teaching the same truths that science is just starting to catch up and “prove.” Coincidence? Hardly!

So whether you’re a software engineer or stay-at-home mom (or both), I can teach you the tools to help you hack your own matrix and architect the reality of your dreams.

If there’s one thing you take away from this article, remember this: You are POWERFUL. It took millions and billions of events for you to be here and exist right now. That’s pretty remarkable. Never forget how special you truly are.

Our Bodies are Gaian

A person doing yoga by the ocean

Health is one of our four core expressions of life. But “being healthy” is so much more than eating well, exercising, and living without disease.

Our body is our life-partner.

Think about it: your body has literally been with you for your entire life. It was there with you the day you were born, it was with you throughout adolescence, teenage years, and adulthood, until eventually it degrades and dies.

Our physical body is the only thing in our lives that is truly “ours.”

You may be wondering why I’m distinguishing “our bodies” from “our self.” The reason is that our body is its own singularity and entity—it is the vehicle we use to drive through the physical world, and our Spirit is the one in the driver seat.

Our Spirit is an eternal, divine being, and when we come Earth-side and are born unto this planet, we symbiotically merge with a body.

There are plenty of scientific studies that show how the body and spirit are indeed separate from one another. Near-death experiences (NDEs) are well-documented throughout history and around the world. The University of Virginia School of Medicine has conducted over 50 years of research on past-life remembrances (i.e. reincarnation) and NDEs, with over 2600 documented and reported cases published in scientific journals. The research is there—and the more we start to explore Quantum Physics, the more it reveals that Consciousness is far more than the electrical signals firing off between neurons in the brain. Consciousness creates reality.

Our bodies also have their own goals, desires, and ambitions, very similarly to how we may have goals and ambitions to change careers, explore spirituality or undertake other endeavors. The body’s desires are often programmed via our DNA but it goes beyond genetics biological needs to reproduce. Our bodies want to feel safe, loved, nurtured, and to have their physiological needs met.

We can’t thrive if we’re worrying about survival. This is why Health is crucial to living a satisfied, fulfilled life.

Yet we often spend so much time shaming our body, saying it’s not good enough, overfeeding it, underfeeding it, putting it through toxic or dangerous situations, and countless other things.

Our bodies are sentient creatures, with their own goals and needs.

They are also the children of Gaia. By respecting our bodies, we are also, in turn, communicating with Gaia. The more we reconnect and nurture our bodies, the more we reconnect and nurture with her. And vice versa. The more we connect and nurture with Gaia, the more we reconnect and nurture with our bodies.

It can start super simple. Here are some mystical exercises that you can do to support your physical body:

  • Treat your physical body like a pet. Do you give him or her enough water? Food? Do you take her out for walks, or keep her locked up inside the house all day? Do you give her the chance to play? Rest? Exercise?
  • Turn your bathroom time into ritual. When doing your morning hygiene routine, imagine Source light infusing your body with every move. You can do this while brushing your teeth, combing your hair, showering, putting on lotion, etc.
  • Get enough physical touch. Hug your friends, family, pets, or get body work like massage. And if you can’t touch other people right now, hug yourself.
  • Thank your body for carrying you throughout your entire lives together. Appreciate him or her for their unique beauty and expression.
  • Focus on what you love about yourself. Rather than focus on insecurities (if you have any), focus on what you love about your body.
  • Look in the mirror and say, “I love you.”

So let’s start to see and treat our bodies for what they are—sentient, beautiful beings, full of POWER and RESILIENCE.

Let’s show ourselves some love! πŸ˜‰ πŸ’–

The Power of Ritual

Image of items used in sacred rituals

Rituals are ingrained in Human culture. If we carefully look around, we can see that magickal rituals are just about everywhere in society.

Wall Street rings the opening bell at 9:00 EST every Monday through Friday. National anthems are played prior to the start of every major sporting event (when they still happened pre-COVID!). American children “pledge allegiance” to the flag every day before school (or used to pre-COVID!). Major social events like weddings and funerals have dozens of rituals that take place within a single ceremonial event.

At a Mystical level, rituals have been used to create good luck, bring the rain, send off the dead, and signal the start of a new cosmological cycle, for tens of thousands of years.

There’s a reason why we see rituals in almost every aspect of our lives.

Rituals are everywhere because they work. They are one of the earliest and most effective forms of Magick.

Inelia Benz in her Are You A Witch? book describes a ritual as, “A series of movements, chants, invocations, thoughts and feelings, usually pre-designed to either call forth entities, a particular effect in the future, or in the mind, physical and subtle bodies. It is one of the easiest ways to bring forth Magick, both material and mental.”

If rituals didn’t work, we wouldn’t see them all over society. Even the most “logical” or “materialistic” driven endeavors are riddled with rituals. If you’ve ever talked to a successful stock broker or serious athlete about their craft, more often than not, they have a very precise and definitive ritual that they believe leads to their success. Is it logical when they describe it? Probably not. Do they believe it works? Absolutely.

And that’s the secret of the success — believing the rituals work is what makes them work. This is how magick works. We use the power of our mind and emotions to move, transmute, or influence energies.

Even science has copped on. Recent studies have also shown that “…performing rituals with the intention of producing a certain result appears to be sufficient for that result to come true.”

Rituals work because we KNOW it to be True.

Rituals have been shown to help people quit smoking, start a new workout routine, learn how to master a skill or become a world-renowned artist. Rituals can also be used to call in spirits, cast spells, and consciously manifest things into your life.

So why do they work? Well, the physical and mental movements of a ritual have an uncanny way to set our intent, focus our efforts, and help us imagine new possibilities for our reality. Basically, it helps program our bodies into bringing in certain energies through conscious intent.

As Mystics, ritual is one of our most important and effective Magickal tools.

Rituals don’t always have to be about spells or witchcraft, although they’re especially effective for that. Rituals can help us create a safe space for some of our most complicated feelings. Even the act of journaling or showing gratitude every day can become a sacred act and dramatically change our physiology and psychological well-being.

We all need sacred space or place of ritual safekeeping. A sacred space can be our kitchen table, magick altar, oratory, garden, favorite nature spot, bed, or the morning routine walking the dog.

We all have the innate right to create space of our own devising that satisfies us, supports us, and inspires us. But remember that if a ritual doesn’t resonate, then don’t do it. Simple! Always follow your inner knowing, especially if the ritual is being conducted by someone else.

Here’s how to add a Mystic Twistsymbol of Mystic Twist to your life by creating a Magickal ritual:

  1. Consciously set your intention — what do you want to create? You need to know where you want go before you can get there, so set a personal goal or magickal spell before you do the ritual. It’s super important only to put yourself as the focus on the ritual; focusing intent (even good intentions!) onto others could infringe upon their Free Will, which doesn’t end well for you or them. Trust me on this.
  2. Plan the ritual ahead of time — don’t just “wing it” or make it up as you go along; rituals are serious business, and you don’t want to accidentally create something you don’t actually want. So set your intent, pick the objects you will use to symbolize that intent, think about what invocations or actions you’ll do as part of the ritual, consider how you’ll end the ritual, and process any fears or resistances before you start. It’s a good idea to write this out ahead of time so you can reference it along the way. Think of it as following a recipe in a cookbook or writing an algorithm!
  3. Use objects for the ritual that symbolize your intent — if you want to remove a negative energy from your life, write that thought or feeling on a piece of paper. If you want to grow or enhance something in your life, use an object that you can see every day so you’ll be reminded of that intent daily. It could be a crystal, sticky note, necklace, wall painting, anything.
  4. Plan your ritual actions to fuel your intent — use movements, words, chants, music, or other physical actions that helps you to allow Superconsciousness (your Higher Self) to flow through you. For example, if you wrote a negative word on a piece of paper, consider burning it (following fire safety procedures!) to symbolize that issue is being removed from your life and being released. If you want to use a crystal to help remind you to stay in high-frequency, consider putting the crystal near your heart and visualizing Source light going through you and into the crystal. Ritual actions that symbolize your chosen intent work best.
  5. Daydream and feel the experience of your intent as being real — During the ritual, KNOW that the outcome of the ritual will become true. Our consciousness affects reality at a quantum level, so “make-believe” and daydreaming is the beginning to believing it. The more “real” it feels, the more powerful the invocation.
  6. End the ritual — create a signal of “closure” that the ritual is complete. This could be done by a simple gesture, removing your objects from the space, or even saying “thank you.” It doesn’t have to be long or dramatic, just acknowledge somehow that you know the work is done.

Remember that rituals are just a tool. You are the one who makes the change and magick happen. It’s not the ritual itself that is powerful, it is you as Spirit that makes the ritual power-ful.

It’s also important to realize that rituals gain power when more people join in the intent. Think of the “Hail Mary” or “Glory Be” prayers; billions of Catholics over millennia have spoken and felt into these words, fueling the power and influence of the ritual over themselves and the planet. It’s much more difficult to dismantle a ritual when large groups are engaged in the opposite intent.

Yet rituals can still be powerful if we do it alone or by ourselves, so don’t let that stop you if you don’t have a ritual buddy. But if we really want to create some powerful change in our personal lives or on our collective reality on the planet, the rituals become much more effective if many peoples join the same intent. This is why global meditations at the same time are so powerful and measurable. Even just adding one more person to your ritual enhances the effect big time, assuming they believe and feel the intent behind the ritual, of course πŸ˜‰ But remember to respect the Free Will of others, so if they don’t want to do it, don’t force it.

Rituals are an innate part of what it means to be Human. So let’s use the power of rituals and “make-believe” to help us believe that our dreams can become reality.
